With over 25 years of experience in the Phoenix area, Terre is a multifaceted talent whose artistry spans acting, drag performance, music, makeup and hair design, and instruction. His work has left an indelible mark across the valley, designing over 100 extraordinary shows for renowned companies such as TheatreWorks, The Phoenix Theatre Company, Southwest Shakespeare, Scorpius Dance Theatre, and Nearly Naked Theatre.

In addition to his theatrical accomplishments, Terre has worked in film, television, print, and runway as a sought-after makeup artist and hair stylist. His portfolio includes working with some of the industry's most iconic figures, including Kathy Najimy, Tessa Thompson, Kevin Kline, Dita Von Teese, Liza Minnelli, and the B-52s, to name just a few. Terre’s diverse expertise and exceptional talent have made him a highly respected figure in both the performance and beauty industries.

DeAndrea Vaughn-Doom is a visionary multidisciplinary artist whose expertise spans special effects makeup, mask-making, and the design of hair, makeup, and headdresses for live theater. Known for her ability to craft both whimsical and dark wearable art, DeAndrea’s work beautifully blends fantasy and horror, drawing inspiration from legendary special effects artists like Rick Baker.

From a young age, DeAndrea’s passion for special effects sparked a lifelong creative journey. Over the past decade, she has become a cornerstone of the local community theater scene, designing striking hair and makeup for a wide range of productions. Her unique style pushes the boundaries of traditional makeup artistry, always adding a fresh and imaginative touch.

Beyond the stage, DeAndrea has lent her talents to runway shows, film, music videos, and high-profile projects for nationally recognized bands. Her exceptional work has earned her multiple awards, solidifying her reputation as a trailblazer in the realms of special effects and makeup artistry, and affirming her place as a leading force in creative innovation.

Zombi is a highly skilled SFX makeup artist with extensive experience that began in her teenage years. Specializing in SFX, sculpting, body paint, and prosthetics, she has worked on numerous scare acting jobs, conventions like Comic Con and Horror Fest, as well as a variety of short films and music videos. Britni has also conducted several demonstrations and mini-classes, covering a wide range of techniques including prosthetic application, creating molds, and crafting effects such as wounds, scars, zombie creations, and freakshow makeup.

She excels at teaching students of all ages and has experience leading groups of 15-20 participants. Zombi offers tiered courses for both beginners and advanced learners, focusing on providing a solid foundation in makeup techniques while encouraging creative growth.

With a career spanning over four decades, Mia Inez Adams is a seasoned drag performer and renowned drag makeup artist. Before making her mark in the drag world, Mia honed her craft in film, stage, and television as a beauty makeup artist. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in theater from Florida State University, she explored the realms of SFX makeup early in her career, laying the foundation for her evolution into the vibrant world of drag entertainment.

Mia is celebrated not only for her artistry but also for her dedication to mentoring new drag performers. Her expertise and guidance have shaped countless rising stars in the Phoenix drag community. She is deeply passionate about the limitless nature of drag, embracing its power as a form of true self-expression and freedom for anyone drawn to this transformative art.

At Evil Izzy’s Makeup Academy, Mia brings her extensive knowledge and passion for drag makeup to students eager to master the craft, ensuring that the next generation of performers is equipped with both the skills and confidence to shine.
